Gather 2021, which includes the 135th Annual Meeting, will be held June 22-26 as a virtual event due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic
Gather ‘21 facilitates annual Covenant connections through the 135th Covenant Annual Meeting, Ministerium Annual Meeting and Vocation Development, and the Ordination Service. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s connections will be held virtually, June 22-26, 2021.
The denominational team is working diligently with Annual Meeting officers, Ministerium officers, the Covenant President’s Office, Develop Leaders team, and Credentialing Committee to ensure all delegates and attendees can engage in the business sessions, worship, and vocational development courses.
It is important that each church ensure they have completed and submitted the 2019 Annual Statistical Report, Delegate Credential Form, and elect delegates to represent their church at the Annual Meeting.
Note: Due to the technical nature of the online meeting, each church needs to ensure that the delegates elected to represent their congregation have the technological resources (computer, cell phone, internet connectivity, video and computer microphone, and headphones) necessary to participate in the business meeting. All delegates will need to ensure they are in a defined, secure location for the entirety of the meeting, and only one delegate per computer will be permissible.
Everyone who wants to participate in Gather 2021 must register to attend. Registration will be open through Monday, June 7, 2021. Early Registration is NOW OPEN and will remain open through April 30, 2021.

What is included in registration?
- For delegates: Registration and virtual meeting access, meeting support, voting and participation resources, delegate orientation, and electronic delegate resources and materials for the meeting. Delegates who would like a hard copy of the resources may request them for an additional $25 (includes shipping and handling) when they register. The resources include a delegate notebook, annual report, and mission and ministry promotional materials.
- For general conferees: Registration as an observer during business sessions, and electronic meeting resources and materials for the meeting.
- For Ministerium Annual Meeting and Vocational Development: Registration and virtual vocational development and continuing education as a member of the Ministerium, meeting support, voting and participation elements, and electronic resources and materials for the Ministerium Annual Meeting.
Cancellation requests will be accepted until April 30, 2021. The cancellation fee is $20.00. No refunds will be offered for cancellations after May 1, 2021, except in case of emergency.
Substitutions will be considered and approved by the Credentialing Committee only for health and/or family emergencies. Requests for substitutions need to be submitted in writing by the church chair and secretary to firstname.lastname@example.org.
